Iffley Road to Display Two World Athletics Heritage Plaques

Two World Athletics Heritage Plaques were awarded to honour OUAC and Sir Roger Bannister at the Bannister Miles 70th Anniversary Celebrations on the 6th May 2024.

OUAC recieves the prestigious heritage plaque as it is one of the oldest athletic clubs in the world, whilst Sir Roger receives his in honour of his sub-four-minute mile and legendary athletic career.
